Roman Holiday

Tomorrow we're leaving for Italy...I can barely contain my excitement! We're staying in a villa located in Todi, Umbria. The name of the villa is Le Mandorelle which means "Little Almond" in Italian. How cute!

While we're in Italy, we will stay in Venice, and we will also spend a day touring in Rome. We will be joining Rob's mom and Peter as well as some friends. I'm so grateful for this wonderful vacation prior to Baby's arrival. Until next time, Ciao!

Steeplechase

On Saturday, May 10, we went to the Iroquois Steeplechase horse race in Nashville which for the last two years has signified the start of summer for me. It was a perfect day! I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my family, Rob's mom and Peter, and of course, Rob. I also enjoy dressing up and wearing a hat -- I'm already looking forward to next year!

I tried to show off my baby bump in this picture, but it doesn't appear quite as large in pictures as it does in my own head!

Hey Everyone!

I always enjoy reading other people's blogs. I love seeing all their great pictures and reading their witty posts. Since we have so many friends and family who live out-of-state, I thought creating my own blog would be a wonderful way to stay "in touch". It's also a great outlet for my creative energy, which I can let run rampant because I have some extra time on my hands...until November!
